Athlete, coach, official, organizer. One of seven original founding members of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.


– Earned seven letters in tour varsity sports at Findlay College. Competed in Ohio Golden Gloves while at Findlay.

– Played second base for Emblem Oils in Glenwood League.

– Coached football, and basketball at Oil City Saint Joe’s.

– Coached football, basketball, baseball and wrestling at Fairview High School.

– Coached wrestling at Strong Vincent.

– Organizer and coach in American Legion Baseball.

– Commissioner of high school baseball in Erie.

– Commissioner of the Glenwood League

– Co-founded local PlAA Football Officials Chapter.

– PlAA football, basketball, baseball, softball, wrestling, and soccer official.

– NAlA basketball official.

– PA State Boxing Commission judge and referee

– Organizer Erie Boxing Center

– Involved with Cathedral Prep boxing in the 1980’s as coach and official

– Helped re-activate Golden Gloves Boxing in Erie
